Beautiful Natural Foot Care Remedy!

Have you ever heard of the expression Hong Kong Feet? This is very common among the Chinese community. I used to wonder why the expression, until I came to know the phrase refers to athlete's foot.

A research from Wikipedia quotes that :
Athlete's foot  is a fungal infection of the skin that causes scaling, flaking, and itch of affected areas, and in severe cases, swelling and amputation of the foot. It is caused by fungi in the genus Trichophyton. The disease is typically transmitted in moist communal areas where people walk barefoot, such as showers or bathhouses, and requires a warm moist environment, such as the inside of a shoe, in order to incubate.

Athlete's foot can happen to any men or women at large. Until today there isn't much solution to this except that you can find lots of skin lotion or cream targeting for the feet.

My new QiGong Sifu actually shared a wonderfully natural tips known to ve very effective in healing "Hong Kong Feet". His remedy as per below :

Use Orange Skin.

Place at least 3 pieces of orange skin into a basin. Soak in hot water. When the water turns semi-hot / hot warm, soak your feet into the basin for 15 minutes or until water turns cold. Do this once a day for a maximum of 3 days only.

Note 1 : Do not do repeat this more than 3 times / 3 days because we do not want other problems pertaining to feet soaking in water to arise.

Note 2 : Do not use plastic basin. When hot water is poured into a plastic basin, the hot liquid causes a potentially harmful chemical to leach out of certain plastics much faster than usual, including BPA as found by researchers. Preferably use aluminium or metal basin.

For those who do not suffer the above symptom may also practice the above if your feet is a little dry. If you have tried the remedy above, do share your experience with me. I will be trying it too!
